Coming to live in residential care can be daunting for any person but especially so for someone who has dementia. 

Our philosophy of care is to ensure that all health, social, spiritual and personal needs are met.  Individual care in a friendly and safe environment where those living in our homes have their personal requirements and their dignity met.  We plan and deliver our care using a person-centred approach, viewing the whole person so they are acknowledged as an individual, unique and special, addressed with respect.

Every person living in any of our residential homes has a personalised care plan designed by the resident, using information from assessments, family and their past experiences to meet their own special needs and therefore respecting their individuality and dignity. 

The life history of a person who lives with us is very important to us and our experienced staff.  A person’s life history and experiences are used by staff to try and recognise the person’s past experiences and interests.  All our staff are encouraged to spend time with residents in order to listen to them and build a working relationship.  More......
